Bring a touch of rustic Louisiana charm and a whole lot of pet-lover personality to your stovetop! This perfectly carved paw print functions as both a sturdy solid-wood trivet and a convenient spoon rest, keeping your counters clean and your kitchen stylish.
100% Handcrafted from Scratch:
Every single piece is cut, completely hand-sanded, and created entirely from scratch by us right here at Pitre's Handcrafted. These are carved directly from solid, reclaimed 1970s cypress neutral board. By rescuing and repurposing this vintage architectural wood, each spoon rest not only features a stunning, rich grain pattern but also serves as an eco-friendly slice of history and a truly authentic Louisiana souvenir.
Functionality & Features:
Whether you are simmering a gumbo and need a spot to rest your wooden spoon, or pulling a hot side dish out of the oven and need a safe place to set it down, this paw print does it all. We make sure to carve deep divots into the "toe beans" to naturally cradle your cooking utensils, while the half-inch thick solid cypress construction provides excellent heat protection for your surfaces. We finish every piece by coating it with premium cutting board oil or natural beeswax (depending on our current shop availability) to protect the wood and make the grain pop.

Care: Hand wash only. Treat occasionally with cutting board oil or beeswax to keep the wood nourished.
